It's Tuesday, which means it's time for another Top Ten Tuesday post courtesy of That Artsy Reader Girl and today's topic is goals for 2026.
Heres my goals.
- Read 100+ books
- Read at least 5 books to cross off for my World Literature Project
- Publish at least three blog posts a week
I wanted to highlight more poetry on my blog and encourage people to consider reading more poetry, as I feel it's a bit undervalued these days.
2026 Classics Reading Challenge
I'm not only hosting this, but I'll also participate in it. If anyone wants to join, feel free to do so.

2026 Hidden Gems Reading Challenge
The third and last reading challenge I'm hosting on my blog, which is all about reading those underrated books.
Something else I've got a bit of in my TBR is translated books, so I figured out I could use this challenge a bit as an excuse to read more of these books and I'll do the linguist level of 10+ books.
As I've got some books from the Southern states in my TBR, I figure out this would be a great excuse to finally read them. I'm aiming for level four, with 7+ books.
Considering the anti-immigration climate that can be seen, I thought this was an important reading challenge to participate in, and I'm aiming for level two, with four to six books. I might read more books though, all depending on my mood and what books I can find in my TBR shelves.
Alright, this one isn't a reading challenge, but rather a book blogger challenge. While a lot of people use TikTok and/or Instagram when it comes to bookish content, it's nice with some focus on written long-form content from time to time. It will also give me some ideas for content fo this blog.

Thanks for sharing your #TTT and good luck with all of your goals!
ReplyDeleteLooks like an excellent line-up of challenges! I'm thinking about doing the books in translation challenge, but it feels almost like cheating since I'm reading a lot of translated fiction (mostly Chinese and Korean) at the moment anyway.
ReplyDeleteThat poetry reading challenge sounds fun.
ReplyDeleteI'm doing the Southern Literature RC, too. I like Southern fiction. I really considered the Book Blogger challenge, but I think it's a little too much for me right now, although I love the idea of supporting book bloggers and the whole art of book blogging. Good luck with all your goals!
ReplyDeleteHappy TTT (on a Wednesday)!
I'm hoping to post 2-3 times a week too. Last year was awful for my blog posts 😅. All these challenges look so fun. I hope you achieve all your goals 😊.
