It's October, which means it's time for another blog post about the books from my TBR that I hope to read this month. My TBR is influenced by the fact that it's Victober, so I'll list several books written in the Victorian era. Some of the books will fit into the prompts/categories for the reading challenge, while others don't, but at least they're Victorian, which is the main thing really.
Here's my picks for October.
Treasure Island by Robet Louis Stevenson
It's almost embarrassing I haven't read this classic yet, but hopefully I'll manage to read it this month.
Tess of the D'Ubervilles by Thomas Hardy
It's one of those books that I've had on my TBR for quite a while, so it would be nice to have read it.
The Tenant of Wildfell Hall by Anne Brontë
As The Tenant of Wildfell Hall sounded interesting, I'm looking forward to reading it. Fingers crossed I'll get to it.
Agnes Grey by Anne Brontë
The second book by Anne Brontë I have on my TBR list, but it's a short one, so it will be a quick read.
Jane Eyre by Charlotte Brontë
A classic by another of the Brontë sisters and a book I tried reading a few years ago, but DNF'ed at the time, but I might managed to read it this time around.
North and South by Gaskell
It's one of those books that sounds a bit interesting, so hopefully I'll manage to get to it during October.
