I came cross the Cosy Autumn Book Tag over at Alli the Book Giraffe and I decided to play along as it looked like a fun tag.
1. What book always reminds you of fall/autumn?
Somehow, A Discovery of Witches by Deborah Harkness always reminds me of autumn.
One of my favourite autumnal book covers has to be Small Spaces by Katherine Arden.
3. What is your favourite autumnal drink to read with?
Two of my favourites has to be hot chocolate and chai latte as they're both really comforting.
4. Do you prefer to read late at night or early in the morning?
I personally prefer to read late at night, as it helps me to fall asleep a little bit faster.
5. Halloween is coming! What is your favourite spooky read?
I'll mention two; Dracula by Bram Stoker and The Woman in Black by Susan Hill. I'm a Dracula geek, but I love the atmosphere and the writing found in The Woman in Black.
6. What is the ultimate comfort read for you?
Although I'm a bit tired of cosy fantasy, and for that matter, romantasy, I can't deny Legends & Lattes by Travis Baldree is a good comfort read.
7. What is your favourite autumnal reading snack?
This one is easy to answer - homemade cinnaom buns.
8. What is your favourite autumnal candle to burn whilst reading?
I honestly don't really have any, as I usually just buy some basic orange, black, or ochre yellow pillar for autumn.
9. When you’re not reading, what is your favourite autumnal activity?
I love knitting and visiting farmer's market during the autumn, which I guess counts for something.
10. What is on your autumn/fall reading list?
A book that's on my TBR is Autumn Chills by Agatha Christie, and some other crime/mystery novels.
