It's April, which means it's time for a new blog post about books from my TBR that I hope to read this month. Considering it's April and thus spring, I was craving a few lighter reads, perhaps with some spring vibes to them. I'm also participating in Dewey's 24 Hour Readathon this month, so a few shorter reads for that is always a good thing.
Anyway, here's my list.
The Library Cat by Alex Howard
How on Earth could I resist the combination of a cat and a library? The premise of this book sounded so charming, so I obviously couldn't resist.
The Second Chance Convenience Store by Kim Ho-Yeon
As I've got a weak spot for Korean literature in recent years, this book sounded like an enjoyable read.
The Kamogawa Food Detectives by Hisashi Kashiwai
The premise of this book sounded so intriguing, and the Japanese setting was an added bonus, so I had to pick this one up.
The Cat Who Saved the Library by Sosuke Natsukawa
As I've already read the first book in this series, I had to have this one too for obvious reasons really. Yeah, another book featuring cats and libraries.
Salt and Saffron by Kamila Shamsie
I've had Salt and Saffron sitting on my TBR for a while, so I figured it was time I picked it up.
