Book Review; White Fang by Jack London

Earlier this year, I read the classic novel White Fang by Jack London and today I'll post my review of the book.

Description from Goodreads
White Fang is part dog and part wolf, and the lone survivor of his family. In his lonely world, he soon learns to follow the harsh law of the North--kill or be killed. But nothing in White Fang's life can prepare him for the cruel owner who turns him into a vicious killer. Will White Fang ever know the kindness of a gentle master?

My Thoughts on the Book
White Fang is a heartbreaking story at times, and Jack London gets the point across that it's important to be kind to animals. I did root for White Fang and while reading, hoping everything would turn out well. It's also indirectly an adventure story, considering some of the places the book is set, and I loved Jack London's prose and descriptions.

Overall, I do get why this book is considered a classic, and it's a book worth reading.
