A while ago, I read the classic Lady Susan by Jane Austen and today I'll post my review of this book.
Description from Goodreads
Recently widowed, the unscrupulous and beautiful Lady Susan Vernon is determined to scheme her way through high society in the hope of a profitable new match - all while trying to marry off her unfortunate daughter. Ambitious and manipulative, Lady Susan is unlike any Jane Austen heroine you’ve read about before. Told through a series of letters, Jane Austen's magnificent first novella is as subversive as it is charming. My Thoughts on the Book
Jane Austen never got to finish and refine Lady Susan, but it was still an engaging read nontheless. The protagonist, Lady Susan, is a well-written, but really unlikeable character and you could feel the other characters' frustration and dislike towards her at times.
As it wasn't totally finished, I can't give a fair verdict on it, but as Lady Susan is written by Jane Austen, it's worth the read nontheless just because of her writing style.
