Some of you might already be familiar with my book blog called The Smell of Ink/Lukten av Trykksverte where I mainly focus on horror and paranormal fiction, but as the time went on, I realised I missed writing about all the other books I was reading, so I decided to start this book blog as an addition. It also gives me a chance to "start from scratch" of sorts with a new book blog.
As I obviously write about horror and paranormal on the other book blog, I'll leave out those books from this book blog, where I'll instead focus on topics and genres such as literary fiction, contemporary fiction, classics, and world/translated literature among other things, as well as a mix of more well-known books and hidden gems. That said, I'll throw in random other bookish content/genres from time to time as I see fit. I'm still figuring out the smaller details, but with over ten years of book blogging experience, I'm pretty relaxed at this point.

In a way, writing this book blog post could possibly be a bit of a resistance of sorts due to the influence of both BookTok and Bookstagram, and lots of people, myself included, being sick and tired of social media as a whole.
I anyway hope some people will discover and enjoy this book blog.
